Zula Restaurant is a small and charming restaurant run and operated by an Israeli family in Costa Rica. It is located 700 meters north from crossroads in Santa Teresa on the southern most tip of Nicoya Peninsula. The name Zula is slang for ‘relaxation’ in Israeli language. So don’t be surprised to find Middle Eastern delicacies as you enter this restaurant. The ocean front location and the salty air add on to the sizzling kebabs you dig in. Kebabs are mainly an Iranian delicacy. These are basically dumplings of meat or vegetables which are skewered and then barbecued.
